Training “Finance for Non-Financial Professionals” in the Mamaivtsi Community

On the last Friday of August, a consultation on the topic of personal finance for veterans, female veterans, and their family members took place at the Veteran Hub of the Mamaivtsi community.

Together with expert Raisa Yuriychuk, we talked about the most important things:

  • financial literacy and how not to become a victim of fraud;

  • drafting and maintaining a family budget;

  • saving and how to choose your own way of accumulating funds;

  • loans — their pros, cons, and risks during wartime.

Participants learned about the specifics of budget planning in wartime conditions, discussed banking products, and received practical advice on protecting their finances.

Such meetings help everyone better understand their money and feel more confident in difficult times.

The learning events were held within the project Reintegration of War Veterans through the Creation of Educational Opportunities: Ours for Ours, implemented by the “Public Resources and Initiatives” Charity Foundation in partnership with DVV International in Ukraine with the support of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
