Second Wave of Enrollment for FREE Courses for Veterans and Their Families Has Started

As part of the project “Reintegration of War Veterans through the Creation of Educational Opportunities: One Plus One”, the second wave of enrollment for professional educational courses has started in Chernivtsi:

  • Nail Service
  • Basics of Massage
  • Basics of Accounting

Training begins in October 2025.

The project, implemented by the “Public Resources and Initiatives” Charity Foundation together with partners, aims to provide veterans and their family members with opportunities to gain new professional skills and successfully integrate into civilian employment.

The courses are designed for beginners and last 78–79 academic hours in an in-person format. The curriculum is divided into thematic modules covering both theoretical and practical fundamentals. Upon successful completion, participants will receive an official certificate granting the right to work as a manicurist in a beauty salon or to start their own practice.

 

How to Register

  • Participation in the course is free of charge.
  • The number of places is limited — enrollment is ongoing.

Who Can Apply

A total of 45 participants from Chernivtsi and the region, including:

  • veterans and female veterans (combatants)
  • persons with disabilities caused by war
  • their family members: spouses (including those of fallen defenders), children (including those of fallen defenders), and parents (including those of fallen defenders)

The project will continue until February 2026 and includes not only educational activities but also psychological support, business grants, consultations, and integration events.

These educational opportunities are part of the project Reintegration of War Veterans through the Creation of Educational Opportunities: Ours for Ours, implemented by the “Public Resources and Initiatives” Charity Foundation in partnership with DVV International in Ukraine with the support of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
