A Training on Modern IT Professions for Veterans Took Place at the Veteran Hub

On October 22, 2025, the Veteran Hub in Luzhany village, Chernivtsi region, hosted a training session titled “Modern IT Professions: What Veterans Should Know.”
The event brought together veterans, veteran spouses, and family members of Defenders of Ukraine who are interested in discovering new opportunities in the field of technology.

During the session, participants learned how the IT market is evolving, what role artificial intelligence plays in today’s world, and how one can start a career in IT even without prior experience.

💬 Speaker: Oleksandr Val, Associate Professor at the Department of Software Engineering of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, shared practical advice on professional development in IT, free training opportunities for veterans, and ways to adapt to new technological realities.

Participants left the training not only with valuable insights but also with renewed motivation to move forward and explore new career horizons after military service.

Special thanks to Nataliia Nechaieva-Yuriiichuk for her continued support of veterans and for organizing such meaningful training sessions.

These educational opportunities are part of the project Reintegration of War Veterans through the Creation of Educational Opportunities: Ours for Ours, implemented by the “Public Resources and Initiatives” Charity Foundation in partnership with DVV International in Ukraine with the support of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
