The Second Wave of the “Basics of Massage” Professional Course for Veterans and Their Families Has Started: New Knowledge and New Opportunities

The second wave of training for the “Basics of Massage” course has officially started in Chernivtsi as part of the project “Reintegration of War Veterans and Veteran Families through Educational Opportunities: One Plus One.”

Veterans, veteran women, family members of Defenders, and families of fallen Heroes of Ukraine have joined the course to learn a new profession, restore balance, and regain their inner resources.

During the first sessions, participants studied the fundamentals of human anatomy, classical massage techniques, and basic practical methods that help relieve tension and improve overall well-being. The training takes place in a friendly and supportive atmosphere, where everyone can not only gain new knowledge but also experience a sense of community and encouragement.

“We see how educational opportunities become a tool for recovery — helping veterans and their families regain confidence, find new meaning, and discover paths to self-realization,” said Olena Tanasiichuk, President of the “Public Resources and Initiatives” Charity Foundation.

The course offers an intensive practical program led by an experienced instructor, with an individualized approach and a focus on mutual support within the group. Upon completion, participants will receive certificates and will be able to apply their new skills in their own businesses or professional practice.

💠 Participation in the course is free of charge.

These educational opportunities are part of the project Reintegration of War Veterans through the Creation of Educational Opportunities: Ours for Ours, implemented by the “Public Resources and Initiatives” Charity Foundation in partnership with DVV International in Ukraine with the support of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
