On 5–6 February 2026, Olena Tanasiychuk, President of the Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation, took part in the annual meeting of civil society partner organizations, “4th UN WOMEN CONNECT – 2026,” organized by UN Women with financial support from the UN Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) and partner governments of Canada, Denmark, Norway, and Finland. The event took place in Kyiv and brought together women’s and women-led civil society organizations from across Ukraine, as well as international partners and donors.

UN WOMEN CONNECT served as an open platform to reflect on UN Women’s results in Ukraine, define priorities for 2026, and discuss the role of women’s and women-led organizations in humanitarian response, recovery, and development amid global transformations. Special attention was given to women’s leadership, women’s economic empowerment, participation in governance, and the development of partnerships with donors.

For the Foundation, participation in the event provided an important opportunity for networking, engaging in direct and open dialogue with donors, exchanging experience with other women’s organizations, and amplifying the voice of Ukrainian civil society initiatives working at the intersection of humanitarian aid, development, and human rights.

“We were glad to be present at such an important event and to have the opportunity to bring our voice to donors and fellow women’s civil society organizations. Platforms like this create space for genuine dialogue, partnership, and joint decision-making that strengthens the role of women in Ukraine’s recovery,” noted Olena Tanasiychuk, President of the Foundation.

The Foundation’s participation in UN WOMEN CONNECT – 2026 became possible thanks to the ongoing strengthening of its institutional capacity, enabling the organization to act as a full-fledged participant in international dialogue with donors and partners. This work is carried out within the framework of the project “Strengthening the Institutional Capacity of the Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation,” implemented with technical support from UN Women in Ukraine and funded by the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF).
