Foundation Team Continues to Strengthen Its Expertise in Women’s Leadership

From 13 to 15 July 2026, Nataliia Filyak, Head of the Cultural and Educational Department of the Charity Foundation “Public Resources and Initiatives,” took part in a three-day training on women’s political participation and leadership organized by UN Women in the Kyiv region.

The training brought together 29 active women from different regions of Ukraine who seek to strengthen their participation in public and political life and decision-making processes.

The programme covered women’s political participation, participation in elections, modern leadership, effective communication, the work of political parties, and the fundamentals of electoral legislation.

Over the course of three days, the participants completed practical assignments, took part in discussions, exchanged professional experience, and analysed the main challenges women face in politics and public life. Particular attention was given to practical tools for overcoming existing barriers and strengthening women’s representation.

For the Charity Foundation “Public Resources and Initiatives,” the participation of our team in such training programmes is an important part of institutional development. New knowledge, professional connections, and the exchange of experience help us improve our own educational programmes, particularly in the fields of women’s leadership, civic participation, and European integration.

It was especially symbolic that the training took place at the same time as the first stage of the Foundation’s project, the “School for Young Women Leaders in European Integration,” was being held in Kyiv. We are convinced that, in order to provide high-quality training, support, and inspiration to others, an organisation’s team must also continue to develop.
