From “I have an idea” to “I’m ready to make it happen”

In Chernivtsi, participants of the “Leadership School for Young Women in European Integration” presented and defended their own project ideas.

Behind each presentation were several months of learning, searching for solutions, doubts, consultations with mentors, and attempts to turn an initial idea into a real project.

The ideas were very different — focusing on youth, education, culture, support for people, and community development. Yet they all had one thing in common: a determination not to wait for better times, but to start creating change here and now, in the places where the participants live and work.

For us, this project defence was also important because it showed that the participants are no longer only talking about challenges — they are proposing their own solutions and are ready to take responsibility for bringing them to life.

The next steps are the announcement of the competition results and the implementation of the selected initiatives.

The project is implemented by the “Public Resources and Initiatives” Charity Foundation in partnership with KWB Koordinierungsstelle Weiterbildung und Beschäftigung e. V., with the support of the German Federal Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt).
