As part of the implementation of the project “Reintegration of war veterans through the creation of educational opportunities: One plus one” the second professional course – “Nail Service” – has started in Chernivtsi.
The project, implemented by the Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation together with partners, aims to provide veterans and members of their families with opportunities to acquire new professional skills and successfully find employment in civilian life.
The course is designed for beginners and lasts 78 academic hours in the format of in‑person classes, divided into thematic modules covering both theoretical and practical foundational knowledge of nail service. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an official certificate entitling them to work as a manicurist in a beauty salon or to start their own practice.

Upcoming training series
In addition, business schools “How to Start Your Own Business” are being held on the premises of the Mamaivska and Mahalska territorial communities, which include training, mentoring support, and individual consultations with a business trainer for business plan preparation. The six best business ideas will receive grants of up to UAH 400,000 (taxes included) for the purchase of necessary components to launch their business.
The project runs until February 2026 and includes not only educational activities but also psychological support, business grants, consultations, and integration events.
