CLIMPSE — See More, Act Together: Environmental Consequences of the War in Ukraine

The Public Resources and Initiatives Charity Foundation is implementing part of the activities of the international project CLIMPSE — See More, Act Together / “Supporting local peacebuilding networks to promote effective climate-sensitive peacebuilding policies, practices and infrastructure”, funded by the European Union and implemented in the Eastern Europe region within the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC) network.

The project focuses on documenting and examining the environmental consequences of the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine. Within the project, the Foundation analyzes open-source data, publications, testimonies and expert materials, prepares analytical texts and thematic narratives, and collects and produces photographic materials illustrating the impact of the war on Ukraine’s environment.

One of the key outputs will be a selection of photographic materials and a thematic exhibition aimed at documenting the changes affecting Ukraine’s land, water resources, forests, ecosystems and communities as a result of the war, and making these consequences visible to Ukrainian and international audiences.

Implementation period of the Foundation’s activities: June 2026 – January 2027.
