On July 6, 2025, the team of the “Public Resources and Initiatives” Charity Foundation took part in the festival “Mandroterapia Fest: Travel. Feel. Live,” organized by the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration.
The festival, which brought together veterans, their families, and partner organizations, became a space for dialogue, inspiration, and new opportunities. The foundation’s team presented its current project, “Reintegration of War Veterans through the Creation of Educational Opportunities: Ours for Ours,” implemented in partnership with DVV International in Ukraine and supported by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany. During the event, free professional courses, business schools, and mentoring programs were presented. A survey was also conducted to assess the current needs of veterans and the veteran community in the Chernivtsi region.
“There, on the frontline, these men and women feel at home. They know how to defeat the enemy, control the perimeter, and defend our independence. Upon returning to civilian life, many of them need our support, assistance, and simply someone to be there,” said the foundation’s president, Olena Tanasiychuk. “Today, with the Charitable Foundation ‘Public Resources and Initiatives,’ we took a small step — we tried to highlight opportunities, guideposts, and landmarks on the map of civilian life for our Defenders and their families. While speaking about opportunities for professional education and starting their own businesses, I saw how these strong individuals want change, but often hesitate to take the first step. I thank each and every one of you for the opportunity to listen to you today.”
The foundation expresses its gratitude to the Department for Veteran Policy of the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration for the invitation to participate in the event.
