“Treasure Shelters”: the procurement phase to equip bomb shelters has begun

Moving to the practical phase of the “Treasure Shelter” project — procurements have begun to further equip shelters in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The aim of this stage is to provide children’s bomb shelters with everything necessary for safe and meaningful stays during air-raid alerts, so that at least 200 children can spend time in comfortable and psychologically supportive conditions. The project covers 4 shelters in the Nikopol Territorial Community, Synelnykove and Kryvyi Rih districts, and is implemented with the support of the Religious Organization “Religious Administration of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ukraine.”

What we are purchasing

  • comfortable furniture and basic equipment for the comfortable stay of children and educators;
  • materials for learning and leisure (board games, toys, creative kits, selected children’s books);
  • organizational and household essentials that will help reduce anxiety and maintain the usual rhythm of learning and play.

How the procurement is carried out

  • the needs of each shelter and technical specifications by categories have been formed;
  • we send and publish requests for commercial offers on official platforms such as (Zakupivli.pro);
  • the selection of suppliers is carried out according to transparent criteria (price/quality, delivery times, warranty conditions, service);
  • decisions are made by a procurement commission with recording in minutes, in accordance with the Foundation’s internal procedures and the donor’s requirements.
